Possibly the most important table in your TTR database is the one that contains the names and addresses of people, companies, and organizations (PCOs), because they are part of your “family.” PCOs include adopters, fosters, surrenderers, donors, members, event suppliers, volunteers, other animal shelters, rescues, or sanctuaries, animal hospitals, and animal clinics. You will stay in contact with these PCOs with communications like notification of this year’s events, newsletters, and requests for donations for a specific use. Taking good care of these records and following our suggestions will pay amazing dividends to your organization year after year.
